Saint Patrick's Day has become an international festival celebrating
Irish culture with parades, dancing and many people wearing green clothes. Another
legendary figure is a goblin, "Leprechaun". It is a kind of Irish
gnome, represented as a small old man. It is said that these goblins hide gold
treasures. Another traditional symbol of Saint Patrick's Day is the
shamrock. It´s the national emblem of Ireland and is taken proudly by Irish
