SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious holiday celebrated on 17 March. It is named after Saint Patrick's death recognizing him as the most important saint of Ireland.
As we know, every year on 17 March Saint Patrick's celebration takes place in many countries of English language, especially in Ireland, but also in The United States.
In this holiday it is typical to wear green clothes because it is the spring color in Ireland and in addition the color of the shamrock.
Another legendary figure is a goblin, "Leprechaun". It is a kind of Irish gnome, represented as a small old man. In agreement with the Irish legend these little beings live in the forest and spent the time making shoes. It is said that these goblins hide gold treasures if they are caught they must reveal the secret of them. But it must not lose them of sight because if they escape you can also lose the hope to obtain the treasure.
Another traditional symbol of Saint Patrick's Day is the shamrock. Up to the moment the shamrock continues being the national emblem of Ireland and is taken proudly by Irish people in the whole world on Saint Patrick's Day.
