READING CLASS INFANTS 3 YEARS OLD

Reading to children not only builds their vocabulary and stimulates their imagination but it also improves their communication skills.

Here are the infants of 3A during storytime.

 We are currently reading ‘Hickory Dickory Dock’ with it’s fun loving star Marty Mouse.

Hickory, dickory, dock,

The mouse ran up the clock.

The clock struck one,

The mouse ran down,

Hickory, dickory, dock.

The children are able to recognise and name the characters in the story and their  lanuage skills are built up through repetition. They enjoy the singsong rhythm and playful wording of nursery rhymes.
